THE ARTISTS
AZA
AZA has created a name for herself as a compelling curator for her electrifying DJ performances: She considers the audience, the venue, and the occasion when she develops her sets. She attributes the polyrythmic selections in her sets to her Carribean roots. Behind the decks she dances throughout the entire performance: “sound and the effect it has on me, and the audiences ignites and revitalizes my soul”. In front of delighted audiences, she appears throughout the Midwest (USA) including Kentucky, Ohio, Detroit, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Her productions have been released on various labels including her own imprint: Soundbeing Recordings. AZA is currently working on a few EPs that will emerge late spring, early summer 2023. AZA has shared stages with Green Velvet, Stacey Pullen, Hannah Wants, Alberto Ruiz,Codes,TheYellowheads, Colette and DJ T1000. Her mission is to continue her musical journey performing and sharing quality and vital sound experiences to music lovers everywhere.
FORTUNE
Jessica is originally from England but now resides in Chicago, she’s been DJing since 1999 and has since performed all over the U.S. She is the founder of Apart, an agency and events promoter working to build a more sustainable and inclusive electronic music scene here in the Midwest.
Apart was originally founded in 2004 as For U Events, Fenner explains.
“The scene is different now in so many ways. The ‘90s and early 2000’s was a time where electronic music was really popular in a different way than it’s popular now, like we didn’t have the big commercial festivals then but raves were popular. Underground culture was big; we were going to a lot of basement parties and warehouse parties for house and techno.
ACID.TV
Jason is the creative mind behind ACID.TV and Universal Vibe. Universal Vibe is passionate about fostering creativity and self-expression through visual arts, music, and dance in the Midwest US! Our mission is to create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where people of all ages can express themselves freely while being celebrated for who they are. That is why together with JIVE WISE they created the Sonic Attenuation renegade rave for a fun inviting event to the public with a fun scavenger hunt aspect to the party to bring back the nostalgic drop parties.
JIVE WISE
Jive Wise (aka Scottie Manners) has been a mobile DJ since 2012 doing weddings and parties throughout Indiana and the surrounding states. Being versatile is what he does best, really researching a genre and running with it, selecting the wisest choice to jive to ya dig? He's been busy expanding his mobile DJ business with local talent such as Shibascream, High Rise Hooligan and Houser as part of the Table Manners Productions crew and mentoring how to achieve success in the mobile scene, now sharing in the knowledge base he is slowly making his way into the club scene. With residency at Plat99 mixology lounge for Bubbles and Beats downtown, and the occasional Hooligang hangout and School Night at the Melody Inn. Jive Wise is pairing up with Universal Vibe to put on an unforgetable party, the first ever Sonic Attenuation (a renegade rave that will be the first of many to come!)
SHAW SHANK
Shaw Shank will be playing out some live beats with his Akai MPC, perfect for a techno setting, getting into the groove and really going deep with it! He's got a love for experimenting and creating awesome feelings, so get ready to experience the live rendition of what he has in store!
HAUZER
Houser has an immense respect for sound, running mixers and sound for larger companies he is always perfecting the art of mixing and mastering. DJ'ing of course is where the real fun begins!
Drumline in high school really helped Will keep a beat, so counting bars and anticipating when to drop a beat comes second nature, helping to keep the mix going during dancing. With his fun attitude he can be the hype man to get people going or stay cool behind the decks and work his magic.
Having done large scale productions with trussing, lighting and dmx, and running the sound board, Will is not afraid to get in front of crowds, helping to keep the party alive.
